If you would like to add a touch of mystery
to your book I now have available black iron
arrowhead strap hinges or aged fleur de lis
hinges. A pair can be screwed to the back of
the book for an additional $30.
They can be placed on either the same or
opposite sides of the spine. Although they
are real hinges they are for decorative
purposes only and are not able to open or
close the book. For a little extra charm and
character be sure to request a pair of hinges
with your order.
Decorative Hinges
I thought a pair of hinges would add a little je ne sais quoi
to this particular book based on Morte d'Arthur by Tennyson.
My miniature Excalibur in the centre of the book was a very
lucky find as it closely resembles the sword that appears in
the image. Hinges will suit this style of book very well.
